Frequently Asked Questions

At this time we offer the following programs: Dental Assisting, Orthodontic Assisting, Expanded Duties(Functions) Dental Assistant, Dental X-Ray and Basic Life Support (CPR).

The Dental Assistant program lasts for 13 weeks.

The Orthodontic Assisting program is 7 weeks long.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the time of the graduation. Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. High school seniors with a qualifying GPA are also eligible. A valid ID is required.

Yes, Modern Dental Career Center provides hands-on experience in a real dental office setting to prepare students for their future careers.

In-person classes are held every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. During Saturday session students attend lecture and clinical hands-on training. During the week students will complete weekly assignments and quizzes via student portal. We plan to offer week day classes in the near future.

Tuition includes books, dental supplies, Dental/Orthodontic Assistant certificates, Radiology, and CPR certificates. Uniforms are not included.

No-interest in-house financing is available with a down payment and weekly installments.

Graduates receive a Dental Assistant / Orthodontic Assistant Certificate, along with Radiology and CPR certifications.

Yes, a required 36-hour externship/internship for the Dental Assistant Program and 12-hour externship/internship for Orthodontic Assistant Program at local dental offices is part of the program..

Modern Dental Career Center assists graduates with job seeking. This includes resume and cover letter preparation, interview skills, and exploring job opportunities, though placement is not guaranteed.

Our school does not offer direct patient care services to the public.
